By train

Grindelwald village is a well-developed tourist enclave in a valley beneath the region's most impressive peaks. Grindelwald now offers excellent access to the ski areas of Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg, and Grindelwald First via gondolas located near the town center (for First) and at Grindelwald Grund. There are lodging options in Grindelwald to suit every taste and budget. The village is directly connected by train to Interlaken Ost and Kleine Scheidegg. Wengen is on the opposite side of the mountain range, above the spectacular Lauterbrunnen valley. Wengen is the best location to access the entire Jungfrau ski region so availability can be limited! Most travelers arrive in Interlaken via the highway. From there, take the exit and follow Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen. The valley splits into two further on, turn left to reach Grindelwald or go straight to Wengen.
By train

By plane

By car
It's not a short trip from the UK to Courchevel, but it can be done in a day, depending on where you live. Most people driving from Britain to France must cross the English Channel from Dover to Calais, the nearest French town. The Calais to Courchevel driving time is around 9h30 for a distance of just under 920km. The most direct route is via the French motorways A26, A5, A39, A31, A6, and A43.
By train
Moûtiers is the closest train station to Courchevel, located 24km from the ski resort (around one hour by bus). Regular high-speed trains to and from London (Ski train) and Paris (TGV) stop here. The train travel time from London to Courchevel is around nine to eleven hours.
By plane
The best way to get to Courchevel is to fly to Geneva Airport. And then get an airport transfer to Courchevel. Geneva offers frequent flights to and from many European destinations, including cities all around the UK and capital cities from across the world.

It is possible to reach Kitzbühel by car. If your route is via the Austrian freeways, stick a vignette on your windshield in good time. By Train
The Paznaun is perfectly connected to the rail network thanks to the Landeck-Zams train station. From there you can take bus line 260 directly to your resort.

From Spain, take the C-145 road from Lleida and the C-16 road from the Cadí tunnel or Puigcerdà. La Seu d'Urgell is 30 km from Encamp the first access to Grandvalira.
